Ian has gained a wide breadth of experience in the key areas of Product Development and Manufacturing Operations and has recognized the significance of integrating the two areas during technology transfer and commercialization into a well maintained mature process that facilitate ongoing process improvements, therefore embracing a true lifecycle approach to Pharmaceutical Supply. More recently Ian has been supporting a top 5 Indian company to regain its EU and US export licenses, this has utilized Ian’s expertise Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and certified GMP auditing training. This has involved training, writing key policy protocols to realize compliant Process Validation, sampling strategies and Annual Product Reviews. Thus enabling their senior management to truly understand the current status of their processes.
Ian possesses an Applied Biology Degree and a MSc in Pharmaceutical Technology from Kings College London that focused on the critical product and process parameters associated to all the main manufacturing technologies. Ian started up and Chaired the very first PAT/QbD special interest group within the ISPE, which lead him to be a member of the Global Steering Committee.
Ian is born in England but has lived in Sweden for the last 18 years
