Ph.D. scientist and consultant with 28 yrs experience in large and start-up pharma R&D with a passion to define, streamline, and implement strategies to efficiently drive and deliver phase optimized NCEs for oral, inhaled, and topical programs to the development pipeline.

Mark has a passion to apply his technical and managerial R&D experience, commitment, and creativity to overcome technical and logistical hurdles, especially regarding discovery support and pre-clinical programs. Having a Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill School of Pharmacy and B.S. and M.S. degrees in Chemistry along with extensive analytical and physical properties experience, Mark is well placed to serve as an interface across a diverse range of discovery and development programs. As highlighted in more detail below, Mark’s business strengths include working well with teams, being goal focused, multi-tasking, identifying technical gaps and processes requiring improvement, and implementing change.
