MURRAY specializes in Lean Six Sigma and Design for Six Sigma (DfSS) consulting supporting clients from a wide variety of industries in the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. He has led or directly supported many process improvement projects resulting in millions of dollars of financially verified savings.
Murray frequently leads Green Belt and Black Belt training sessions on Lean, DoE, Six Sigma and DfSS tools and concepts. He also provides post training support through coaching of trainees as they apply these new tools and concepts during their process improvement projects.
With over 20 years of industry experience in pharmaceutical development and production operations, Murray is well versed in all stages of the product lifecycle. Recognizing the continually increasing regulatory expectations to “design quality in” and to “demonstrate enhanced knowledge” Murray regularly supports clients through the application of advanced tools such a multivariate analyses, Monte Carlo simulation and robust process design.
Most recently, Murray has been working with a variety of pharmaceutical organizations supporting the development of new products, designing validation strategies and increasing process knowledge of existing products through the application of DoE and related tools.
Murray often presents at seminars and conferences and publishes articles on the application of Six Sigma and DfSS in a pharmaceutical environment. He is also a co-author of Lean Six Sigma: A Tools Guide which is used by government, industry and academia.
